Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the United States for more than ten decades. She was part, and captain, of the US Olympic women's gymnastics team Fierce Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). At the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals in team and floor competitions and bronze medal on the balance beam. This made her the Olympics gymnast with the highest number of medals. The gold medal was hers in the team event in the 2016 Olympics and made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to have back-to-back golds. Silver medals were also awarded in both the all-around individual and floor exercise. The break was for three years between the two Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. She was also a part of the gold medal winning American team at 2 World Championships. At the age of 2 She began learning gymnastics. Her favourite event is floor workouts. Aly is a part of her organization, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization to honor and remember her grandmother. She is planning to pursue an occupation in fashion and would like to expand her signature line of leotards as well as socks in the future. Fierce the new novel she is working on will be published sometime in the coming year.
